Training topics include: Clinical Study Operations, Communication and Teamwork, Data Management and Informatics, Grants and Publications, Leadership and Professionalism, and Study and Site Management.
The Health Informatics team stewards a wide range of services available to investigators and research teams. We have helped hundreds of clinical researchers leverage UNM Hospital’s (UNMH) electronic health records, REDCap, and other databases to find eligible subjects for clinical trials, evaluate medical practice trends, and conduct longitudinal research projects with local and national cohorts.
Our team works to harness the research potential of electronic medical records, provide secure storage for human-subjects data, improve research efficiency, develop technologies to support research projects, and share these resources with the UNM Health Sciences community. Data Analyst services include: Project consultation and scoping, case finding and cohort discovery, data extraction, and Honest Brokerage – Click here to learn more! REDCap Services include project consultations, eConsents, survey development, and modifications/repairs to an in-production survey. Learn more about REDCap Resources here.
Provides access to information and individual guidance regarding the steps involved in translating discoveries to patients and the public. This includes:
